Appeal rejected
The TAR confirms the administration of theTerritorial Hunting Area An2 and rejects the appeal of the hunting associations. Coldiretti Ancona, which in recent months had denounced the impossibility of managing the institution and loudly asked the Region for the arrival of the commissioner, was represented and defended by the lawyers Michele Spinozzi and Salvatore Menditto.
The return to the previous situation
“We are very satisfied – they say from Coldiretti Ancona – The administrative judges rejected the precautionary request with which the hunters requested a return to the previous situation. The judgment on the merits remains to be carried out, but in the meantime it is a confirmation of the path to restoring normality after the protests of the previous months". Clash began in January 2022 when representatives of the agricultural sector walked out of the Management Committee as an act of protest towards the payment requests received from farmers after highly contested second appraisals which reduced the amount of compensation for damage suffered by wild boars and wildlife .

After the farmers, the representatives of the environmentalists, the Marche Region and the Municipality of Fabriano also resigned. The Assembly had reached the end of its mandate in July 2023.
