The locations of the races
The Tav Macallè in Priverno (LT) hosted the match that awarded the Italian Cup and the Third Category Champions Cup of Compak Sporting. In total, 69 corporate teams were registered for the two competitions for a total of 207 shooters. Starting from the Champions Cup ranking, the Tav Foligno team made up of Maurizio Caruso, Marco Eusepi and Emanuele Vescarelli deserved the coveted trophy.
The winners
The Umbrians scored 277/300, beating by two points the Tav Sonnino team made up of Fernando D'onofrio, Agostino Di Girolamo and Mauro Rizzi, silver medalist with 275/300. To assign third place, a play-off was necessary between the teams of Tav La Tana del Lupo and that of CLT Terni tied at odds of 273/300. In the end, Giovanni Selvaggio, Luca Lambrase and Pasquale Ferraro from La Tana del Lupo prevailed, scoring 69/75 in the shoot-off series.
Other results
However, as regards the Italian Cup, it was the trio from Tav Sezze who lifted the Trophy. Antonio Tanzi, Mauro Fedeli and Federico Antonietti scored 266/300, deserving the top of the podium with two points ahead of the hosts of Tev Macalle Ginaluca Sicignano, Roberto De Prosperis and Giuseppe di De Ponto, silver medalists with 264/300 . On the third step went Mauro Lo Storto, Bruno Mattiuzzo and Romaldo Galtelli, bronze medal with 262 (source: FITAV).
