CONI organizes the 41st edition of the National Competition for Sports Story.
The competition aims to promote and disseminate an increasingly widespread narrative genre and is of significant importance in the cultural panorama because it offers the opportunity to many sports enthusiasts to try their hand at the art of writing.
Over the years, together with ambitious young people, leading figures from the intellectual world such as Dacia Maraini, Alberto Bevilacqua, Gianpaolo Ormezzano and Renato Minore have also participated. 1st Prize 3,000,00 Euro 2nd Prize 1,500,00 Euro The works must be sent as a WORD document, by e-mail to the following address: [email protected], by April 16, 2012, also attaching a declaration on the unpublished nature of the story, together with personal data and personal contact details or specifying the details of the publication according to the rules of the announcement or, if on paper, presented in 5 typewritten copies (which do not will be returned) to the Secretariat of the National Competition for Sports Story, at the Communication and Media Relations Office CONI, Largo Lauro de 'Bosis 15, 00135, at the Foro Italico.
The unpublished stories, correctly typed (Times New Roman 12, line spacing 1, with the right and left margins of 2 cm and the upper and lower ones of 2,5 cm), must be contained in a maximum length of 10 pages (18.000 characters) .
Each author can participate with a maximum of two stories. After the success of last season, the “Under 18” award was confirmed, awarded to the author of the best sports story written by a young man born after 1 January 1993, who will be awarded a non-cash prize.
