Il Veronese Dog Group "Luigi Delaini" and the Rosagallo Association organized an important one international dog lover convention entitled "The mountain and woodcock dog - Future dynamics". The event will take place on May 13th in Lazise-Dogana Veneta (province of Verona). The conference will be sponsored by ENCI, the Municipality of Lazise, the Pointer Club of Italy, the Italian Setter Society, Beccacciai of Italy, Club della Beccaccia and National Union of Alpine Zone Hunters (UNCZA).
At 9 am the discussions on the macro-topic "Ideality and practice" will begin. We will talk about the morphology of the mountain dog, the gait, the use of the dog in hunting and rehearsals, the feeding and preparation, the improvements in the selection, the difficult job of the handler and the meaning and evolution of tests on woodcocks and game.
At 11, however, the reports on the specialist tests will begin: the in-depth topics will be those relating to dog lovers and wildlife management, the relationship between hunting associations and specialist tests, the “definitive” regulation of the Saladini Pilastri Trophy and the Gramignani Trophy, organizational problems and the future of hunting canine. At 12:30 it will be the turn of the specialized tests of the continental races, to then arrive at the conclusion of the conference.
