Wild boars are inevitably the great protagonists of today's hunting debates, Tuesday 12 July 2016. After letter from Coldiretti Pisa to the Territorial Hunting Area, Federcaccia, Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia and ANUUMigratoristi have published a joint note. The press release refers to the Government's approval a week ago of a Bill on simplification, rationalization and competitiveness in the agricultural and agri-food sectors (the so-called "Agricultural Link").
It will soon be published in the Official Gazette: the text solved the problem that arose at the end of 2015 when the placing of wild boars throughout Italy had been prohibited, with the exception of faunal-hunting farms and hunting agritourism companies with adequate recitation. The second paragraph of Article 7 also categorically prohibited foraging the same wild animals.
The new article 38 has made some significant changes. In particular, an attempt was made to solve the problems caused to recent managers as regards theboar dog training. The hunting associations said they were satisfied with the changes made, as deputies and senators listened to the concerns submitted to them. The ability to train dogs used in hunting and operations related to control of ungulates it is a fundamental requirement to protect the safety of the auxiliaries, who are taken to a controlled environment.
