A good news
The request for a single-judge precautionary measure, with which environmental associations had requested the suspension of hunting activity, was rejected in Sicilian territory, one of the many appeals against the calendars that are characterizing this month of September.
Chamber hearing
The president of the third section of the TAR Palermo, sharing the exceptions raised by the regional Federcaccia, considered the opening on September 15th legitimate and set the chamber hearing for September 25th 2024. There had been several objections from the various acronyms.
Pre-opening and beyond
Among the measures object of the appeal were the pre-opening to wood pigeons and turtle doves, the failure to respect the state of crisis and natural disaster, in addition to the hunting of the species Quail, Woodcock and Wild Boar in the absence of the necessary monitoring foreseen in the Regional Wildlife Hunting Plan.
