La Marche region complies with the provisions of Article 1 c.3 of the Interministerial Decree of 6/11/2012. Good. Now we wait to know the reports of the Regions hitherto silent in order to be able, through a complete overview of sampling data at national level, to make a reliable analysis and, yes, it can be used in the appropriate locations, to demonstrate that the hunting activity is truly sustainable. With regard to the data from the Marche region, it is important to highlight how the overall trend, relating to the collection of minor sedentary fauna, is clearly negative and, if we add to this the progressive increase in damage to agro-economies from wildlife, the result cannot but denote a serious and evident managerial inability.
Indeed, it seems that for the next hunting season, again in the Marche region, 4 ATCs out of 8 total (we are awaiting confirmation) increase the registration fee to deal with the huge, and uncontrolled, damage caused by wild boar. In this sad but clear picture the question arises spontaneously: it is only the policy of the major Hunting Association - that manages 90% of the Marche ATCs- He has failed? Why do they have to pay the wrong political hunters for 20 years?
We await answers. Furthermore, we hope, even at the national level, a change of pace: concrete changes and no longer misleading advertisements and announcements of “bonsai” research, useful only to slow down the approval of hunting calendars in the regions and to create false expectations in hunters, due to the avalanche of appeals increasingly won by the applicants (unfortunately) precisely due to the lack or ineffectiveness of studies to support forced requests (Gabriele Sperandio - President of Arci Caccia Marche and member of the National Presidency)
