Yesterday, June 23, theISPRA organized a video presentation on the results of wolf monitoring, in which the methods of data collection and subsequent processing that led to the estimated 3.307 wolves, with confidence intervals between 2.945 and 3.608 individuals. This means that the exact value can be within ranges, with varying probabilities of correctness.
Although the calculated values lend themselves to various interpretations, today there is an estimate that allows us to act on the management of the species to resolve the increasingly frequent conflicts with the world of breeders. It must be pointed out that the esteem and tendency of the population inform us about the good state of the species, but it is the sustainable value that must be sought, in view of a peaceful coexistence.
