Hunting: The hunting associations Federcaccia, ANUUMigratoristi, Enalcaccia, Liberacaccia Arci Caccia and the CNCN inform all hunters that with the publication in the Official Gazette n.192 of 20 August 2014 - Ordinary Supplement n. 72, of the law 11 August 2014, n.116, the changes made by the decree law 24 June 2014, n. 91 to the national law 157/92.
The joint work has made it possible to reach a balanced result that responds to the infringement procedures raised by the European Community by combining science and traditions. A small signal that we hope will be the bearer of that serenity useful for spending our hunting days with greater gratification. Below is the text of articles 2, 4, 13, 21 of the aforementioned law no. 11 only in the parts as modified by this law (the modified parts are in italics):
Art. 2. Object of protection.

2-bis. 3. The capture activity for ringing and for transfer for recall purposes can only be carried out by plants whose authorization is held by the provinces and which are managed by qualified personnel and assessed as suitable by the Higher Institute for Protection and Research. environmental. The authorization for the management of these plants is granted by the regions in compliance with the conditions and procedures set out in art. 19-bis.
1 -bis. Within six months from the date of entry into force of the law converting this decree, by decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Permanent Conference for relations between the State, the regions and the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, after obtaining the opinion of the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research, the following are defined:
a) the criteria for authorizing capture means and facilities compliant with those used in other countries of the European Union and not prohibited by Annex IV of Directive 2009/147 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009;
b) the rules and conditions for the exercise of control activities, with particular reference to the selective and occasional capture method;
c) the procedures for setting up specific regional databases;
d) the criteria for measured use and the definition of quantities.
1 -ter. Within six months from the date of entry into force of the aforementioned decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, the regions adapt their legislation to the provisions of the same decree.

Art. 13 Means for the exercise of the hunting activity
1. Hunting activity is allowed with the use of shotgun with smooth bore up to two shots, repeating and semi-automatic, with magazine containing no more than two cartridges, of caliber not exceeding 12, as well as with shotgun with rifled barrel with single manual or semi-automatic repetition loading of caliber not less than 5,6 mm with empty case no less than 40 mm in height. The magazines of semi-automatic repeating rifled-bore rifles used in hunting cannot contain more than two cartridges during hunting and can contain up to five cartridges limited to boar hunting.
