There are two legal texts that have been filed in Friuli Venezia Giulia to eradicate the otters, whose invasion is now visible to all. The documents are distinct from each other, but equally propose to fight rodents, responsible for damage to crops and waterways, a situation that is also repeated in other areas of Italy. The texts were deposited by the councilor Paul Panontin and the councilor Mara Piccin. As explained by Panontin himself, the regional plan will have a duration of three years and will be an effective tool for control and eradicate the otters.
The text will respect the requests of ISPRA and will provide for the coordination of hunters through the Forestry, without forgetting the possible non-bloody forms of prevention. Piccin's law is quite similar in content: the duration will always be three years and the coypu can be hunted at any time of the year and throughout the region, without any limit from a quantitative point of view.
They took sides in favor of the measure various economic operators and agricultural acronyms: finally, Piccin asked for an end to free attacks on hunters precisely in relation to the control of this rodent. Now we await the discussions in the classroom and the consequent approvals.
