The decision to remove him was taken at the end of today's summit in Asiago which was attended, in addition to the regional councilor for hunting Stival, the representatives of the prefecture of Vicenza, the provinces of Verona, Vicenza and Belluno, local administrators. "Concern is high for breeders, farmers and for tourism".
This is the decision taken at the end of a technical-institutional summit, which was held today, in the presence of, among others, the regional councilor for civil protection and hunting of Veneto Daniele Stival, representatives of the prefecture of Vicenza, of the provinces of Vicenza , Verona and Belluno, local administrators, experts in the sector.
«In 150 years there have been no attacks on humans in our areas - said Stival - so statistically the population can be reassured, even if an evolution of the behavior of this bear cannot be excluded a priori. On the other hand, there is a high concern for the effects on the activities of breeders, farmers and tourism, which I believe should be held in high regard ».
