As announced by the Italian Federation of Hunting, the Environment Committee of the Senate rejected - 7 votes in favor, 11 against and 3 abstentions - the amendment presented during the conversion of the decree law 8 September 2021, n. 120, which has measures of fighting forest fires and which provided for the extension of the ban on hunting to municipalities and regions in much larger areas than in those crossed by fire.
There has been a lot of talk about this topic in recent days. In particular, Coldiretti had feared a further tightening of thecurrent wild boar emergency in the event that there had been the approval of theamendment rejected today.
