Great results
On October 21, 2023, they were assigned to Senec in Slovakia, on the occasion of the 43rd edition of the World Dog Racing Championships, the world champion titles for the S. Uberto specialty. In a general context where both the handlers and their assistants had to give the best of themselves, the Italian athletes were able to demonstrate their value by establishing themselves in this competition. Norman Rota won first place and the gold medal in the "Search" category, thus becoming World Champion, followed by Elisa Mambelli who won second place and the silver medal in the "Lady" category.
Positive balance sheet
Both also won the gold and the title of World Team Champions together with their teammates Mirko Valentini and Marco Perfigli for the "Cerca", and Maria Elena Ganadu and Rebecca Tenconi for the Lady. An extremely positive outcome for our expedition which also on this occasion was able to demonstrate, thanks to the work of the athletes and staff involved in the race, the very high level at which dog breeding stands in our country.
Compliments from FIDC
Timely congratulations from the National President of Federcaccia Massimo Buconi: “My most sincere congratulations for this important result to our athletes and the entire Italian team. None of this is taken for granted.
