As announced byNational Free Hunting Association, from 5 to 7 May next the city of Atessa (province of Chieti) will host the thirty-fifth edition of the National Championship for following dogs on wild boar. The specialties will be three, that is "Single", "Pair" and "Mute", all on free territory. The prizes will go to the first classified in each category and will be a TEK 1.0, handheld plus GPS collar, but there will be awards for the second and third classified.
The meeting is scheduled for May 4th, while the next day at 6 am the rehearsals for Singles and Couples will begin. On May 7, however, there will be room for the test of the competitors in the "Mute" category. Every single competitor will have the opportunity to participate in no more than two specialties, even if strictly with different auxiliaries.
There will be checks of all subjects before the test via microchip reader, without forgetting the obligation to present the certificate of registration in the canine or pedigree registry or even the work book of the National Canine Organization Italian. Qualified competitors who will arrive in Abruzzo for more than 250 kilometers will finally be able to take advantage of the full board treatment.
