There was a lot of anticipation for the two days of Spigno Saturnia, in the province of Latina, which saw pointing dogs engaged in one practical test on natural game organized by Federcaccia Lazio. Last weekend's tale (20 and 21 February 2016) which was made known by the association today highlighted the presence of splendid territories, valid and true wild and above all a lot of passion for dog lovers. Practical hunting on natural partridges has taken advantage of the work carried out in recent years in support of this population. In a nutshell, the partridges were really there, the testimony that the zootechnical verification project in the area is going well.
The interest and collaboration ofTerritorial Area of Latin Hunting 2 it was undoubtedly fundamental in this sense, but we must not forget the commitment of the Municipality and of the group made up of agricultural laborers and dog lovers of national level. Federcaccia Lazio wanted to congratulate the entire organization and with the judges who took part in this very important test. Particularly, the difficulty encountered by the dogs was not negligible, especially when there was a need to stop these partridges, a complication that had consequences in the final standings and in the heats.
However, the skill of the animals was not called into question by this detail of the test. What were the final results? The English breed category was dominated by Lello Buco's Nero setter, protagonist with the "First Excellent" in the victory of the barrage: the second place was instead conquered by Twittr del Zagni by Roberto Lucaioli, followed by Leo by Vincenzo Palluzzi, Ilio by Lello Buco, Rudy by Antonio Romano (Very Good). Rudy, in particular, managed to enter the ranking together with another auxiliary, as happened also to Francesco Costanzo.
As for the category of continental breeds, the victory went to l'Epagneul Breton Boss of Anna Violo (“First Excellent” also in this case), while the kurzhaar Mark led by Umberto Pasquini completed the podium. The Lazio section of the Italian Federation of Hunting finally collected the precious declaration of the aforementioned Lello Buco, according to which the flights of partridges in Spigno Saturnia caused a pleasantly strange sensation. Furthermore, Buco himself explained how these emotions are important stimuli to do even better and always from the point of view of management. His compliments went to the entire Latina ATC and to the entire working group.
