Mandatory cases
THEENCI (Ente Nazionale Cinofilia Italiana) announces that the Board of Directors, following the indications formulated by the Central Technical Commission, has decided to make it mandatory to deposit the biological sample at ENCI accredited laboratories for certain dogs.
The dogs involved
These are those specimens that:
they obtain the Certificate of Typicality to access the Supplementary Register of Recognised Products (RSR) as founders;
are sold to foreign owners.
The above decisions were taken to promote studies on dog breeds, as well as to facilitate the verification activities of the Central Book Office.
Entry into force
The above provisions come into force from 15 February 2025 and therefore:
in cases of access to the RSR as founder and/or transfer at the same time as the submission of the Litter Registration Report (Form B), the date of submission of the application to the Delegation must be considered;
in cases of transfer of ownership presented to the Delegation, the registration date must be considered.
