EOS 2025 – European Outdoor Show at Fiera Verona. Continuous and orderly influx.
The already extraordinary numbers of the first day are confirmed. The turnout at EOS show '25 reaches 32 thousand. Just a small step, tomorrow, to exceed 40 thousand, which is the goal of the organization.
The weapons and hunting sector is worth 8 billion euros and employs over 88 thousand people. EOS – European outdoor show '25 Veronafiere is the liveliest and most vibrant expression of this, contained in three days. Over 32 thousand tickets were sold in the first two days. There is always a desire for a fair and the passion can be felt in every corridor, in every stand. And it unites visitors and exhibitors who confront each other by speaking the same language. And then, yes of course, exhibition of products, but also conferences, meetings, awards.
Modern hunting is a wildlife and land management activity, sustainable hunting and also a source of volunteer actions and beneficence. For example that of the group “Wild Boars and Wild Boar Hunters” which since 2023 has collected, through a lottery, approximately 30 thousand euros with the aim of donating a Fibro Scan to theBufalini hospital in Cesena (FC). According to what Alberto Bastianelli, Beretta manager and president of the Lega Italiana Fibrosi Cistica Romagna Odv, told us, there is still about the same amount to be raised to purchase the machine and, for the 2025 edition, the hunter-donors have decided to start selling lottery tickets right at the EOS show. Since 2023, Beretta has supported the project by donating a BRX1 rifle, which represents the first prize of the lottery.
At the EOS Show, the group 'Cinghiali e Cinghialai', with Alberto Bastianelli and Beretta, started the fundraising to donate a Fibro Scan to the Bufalini hospital in Cesena. Beretta supports the project by donating a BRX1 rifle as the first prize of the lottery.
The race of 10 meter rifleof the EOS Trophy UITS saw Debora Crosato (VR) from Treviso and the shooter from Novi Ligure (AL), Federica Donetti, put Achille Renato Beretta from Treviso in line. Pierpaolo Simeoni from Spoleto (PG) won the R3 R5 Carbine competition. Tomorrow is the turn of a special event, that is, the Italian Journalists Championship.

The second day was as good as the first, in pavilion 9 dedicated to fishing, in particular fly fishing, with competitive programmes still on the agenda, various precision throwing activities aimed at young people and the opportunity to try out the new equipment made available by the exhibiting companies. And the award ceremony, among others, of the couples Simone Cocchetti - Leonardo Dini e Leonardo Benassi - Alessio Ticciati, who won the 2024 Tournament of the MLF – Major League fishing Italy. Then the presentation of the joint program Conservation & Promotion of the same MLF Italy and Italy Bass Nation with Silvano D'Angelo, Jimmy Ashlock Paolo Frighetto and Eddy Peruzzo. Worth mentioning, among the artisans, builders of bamboo rods and artificial baits, also the presence of the Antipes Association which gathered collectors of old fishing equipment at the fair.
Satisfied Roberto Trabucco, one of the exhibitors, who noted a larger audience than last year and more interested and knowledgeable: "We presented all the new products of the Loomis & Franklin brand, purchased less than ten years ago, specialized in fly fishing, in constant growth. The public appreciated it and compliments are always nice".
Stephen Guido of Shimano was surprised by the knowledge of the visitors: “Many and real fishermen, this year more than last year. Our stand exhibits 90% of our 2025 novelties, so it was the center of interest”.
Charles Alexander Negri, of Like a River in Mariano Comense (CO), expressed satisfaction with EOS: “We are happy with EOS. The public is knowledgeable and always looking for a bargain. Patagonia clothing is good, always in high demand, and the Guide Line and Hardy rods”.
On Monday 10,02,2025 the fair starts at 9, as usual and will close at 16.
