The enthusiasts did not disappoint the organizers' expectations and on the third day of EOS – European outdoor show '25 allows to establish the Italian record of… specialty! 40.269 tickets were issued, proving that when hunting, shooting, the outdoors, fishing and boating call, enthusiasts respond without hesitation. And what a response!
“These were intense days, full of great satisfaction and great participation,” said the president of EOS show Patrick Carotta. “I would like to thank all the people who came to visit us in these days and allowed us to reach this number, which is a record for us. I would also like to thank Veronafiere, the police, the staff and all those who contributed to this splendid result. I'll see you at EOS show 2026 which will be held one month later from 14 to 16 March, again at Veronafiere.".

The EOS show was also a day of work and study for the world of hunting, on the path of evolution and modernization. Today, the Fondazione UNA association questioned itself on the role of the hunter 4.0: Antonella Labate, biologist specialized in wildlife and hunting management and advisor to the Scientific Committee of the UNA Foundation, stressed the importance of conveying a correct culture around hunting activity, considering it as a fundamental element for the protection of biodiversity. In this sense, the collaboration between the UNA Foundation, schools and universities for the creation of awareness projects capable of touching on multiple facets of the same theme and reaching different targets. “For the hunter 4.0”, says Labate, “guaranteeing the future of hunting means adopting a correct approach, where fauna and habitat represent two sides of the same coin”.

Lots of activity also for the Shooting Federations, all present at the EOS show. Even on the last day of the European Outdoor Show, the UITS medalists of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Federico Nilo Maldini, Paolo Monna and Davide Franceschetti, answered the call of the numerous Shooting fans, contributing to giving the Verona event a festive atmosphere.

Worth remembering is the enthusiasm of the participants and the promise to meet again, under the same sky that unites all lovers of sport shooting and outdoor sports. At the stand of the Italian Shooting Union, which during the three days in Verona was the object of numerous visits from enthusiasts and simply curious people, also hosting the second edition of theEOS Trophy, the Italian 10-meter Air Pistol Journalists Championship was held. Success for the outgoing champion (from a few years ago) Max Vallini, EOS press officer and pen of the newspaper Cacciapassione.com. The Milanese got the better of the Veronese Serena Mizzoni and on the Roman Mark Massetti.

Peter Unterholzner of Blaser Italia says that “EOS is increasingly a point of reference for the sector, with visitors coming from all over Italy who want to learn about the latest news. Many selective hunters also from the South”. George Beolchini, a historic gunsmith from Pavia, is exhibiting fine and collectible weapons at the EOS show: “I brought my best repertoire here and found a large and knowledgeable audience: thermal imaging cameras, rifles and smoothbore shotguns, as well as my clothing brands. I am optimistic because I am convinced that quality and seriousness always pay off”.

Fabrizio From The Door of Crispi marketing, inaugurated the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the footwear company that is perhaps the most specialized in hunting in Italy. “EOS is increasingly the reference fair. Here we are able to see our distributors at a European level and therefore we do not need to go to IWA in Nuremberg. In addition, here we are able to have direct and fortunately positive feedback from the hunters who use our boots”. Frederic Colombie Browning-Winchester-Miroku Italia speaks of a “great success” for EOS and the surprising quality of the event: “As far as we are concerned, we are very happy to have seen many professionals looking for new things. So for us EOS also becomes a B2B fair, not just B2C anymore”.
