Also the Emilia Romagna region he gives up and removes the turtle dove from the pre-opening. Arci Hunting Emilia Romagna writes to the Regional Councilor thanking him for the work done, but underlining the shortcomings of the Government on this matter:
Dear Councilor,
we acknowledge the precise and punctual work by you and your offices, carried out to allow pre-opening turtledove to be hunted in accordance with European directives, we thank you. Work and effort unfortunately useless. It is necessary to stigmatize the behavior of the Ministry and the competent technical bodies which, with absolute diligence, generally require all Regions the moratorium in fact and with the same resolute inertia, they do not proceed with the approval of the NATIONAL PLAN as resolved by the competent commission at the State Regions Conference.
In the perspective that the Management Plans will increasingly be the main tool for hunting migratory game, see this level of intellectual honesty and learn that not even the Institutions, such as the one you represent, manages to get the right answers and worries us and does not give us hope for the future. In particular, I allow myself to doubt your statement that this is a suspension limited to the current hunting season, I hope to be proved wrong.
This situation will see the hunting associations engaged in a united battle to clarify legitimate political objectives and correct administrative procedures at all levels. I do not hide the fact that in this dialectic we would like to have the support of the Regions which in my opinion, if only for institutional grace, they do not deserve to be pointed out as responsible for this situation since they have to manage the relationship with the hunters.
Cordially
