The La Leonessa Dog Group of Brescia, a provincial delegation of the ENCI, organizes an exhibition area within the annual event of hunting and outdoor weapons with representation of the most widespread hunting breeds present in our province and at the same time more widespread. among fans from all over Europe.
Currently the hunting breeds, according to the FCI classification (Italian Canine Federation), are divided into Stationary Dogs (Continental and Foreign), Followed Dogs, Search and Retrieval Dogs, Burrow Dogs. The denominations refer to the hunting specialization. Instead the names of the breeds, such as the Italian Hound or the Swiss Hound, derive from a national characterization or from a morphological characterization referred to the color of the coat or to the texture of the hair (Porcelaine, Bleu de Gascogne, Dratahaar, Kurzhaar etc.).
During the four days of EXA, the breeders present will show some representative subjects of the most popular breeds and will provide the public with information on the characteristics and abilities of individual dogs.
On the other hand, the specialized public will be notified of the latest news relating to the National and International tests, which take place annually to allow comparison and competition between the various subjects and the subsequent attribution of the title of Champion on display and in Practical Test.
