Hunting. The new rules on Hunting 2016 are apparently confused and at least at first glance it does not seem that there is uniformity of views.
Thus it happens that in Tuscany suitable areas and non-suitable areas are identified. The first are those portions of territory intended for the conservative management of one or more species of ungulates. In these areas Here, the number of boars it cannot exceed 2,5 per 100 hectares at the end of the hunting season.
Non-suitable areas are those agricultural surfaces that are damaged or potentially damaged by ungulates. The hunting plans are regulated in compliance with the hunting calendar. All hunters must wear high visibility clothing.
But in the areas not suitable for the hunts, ATC members with a qualification for the reference species, the owners of agricultural land registered with the ATC and, in the territories of competence, the owners and guests of the wildlife-hunting companies can participate in the hunts. and agritourism-hunting companies in possession of a license or accompanied by qualified personnel.
As for hunting methods, it must be assigned with "climbing" and not "hunting" assignments or with the use of dogs, with rifled barrel weapons, with optics or with a bow of at least 40 pounds of power for the taking of the roe deer and 50 lbs of power for the other species.
Only for wild boar and exclusively in non-suitable areas and in periods and times established by the Region, single hunting is allowed "in search" or with the "spin" technique. Sanctions from 1.030 to 6.180 euros for each head of mouflon, wild boar, red deer, fallow deer and roe deer killed by those who do not comply with the provisions of the regulations.
In the province of Trento, the draft laws on which we are discussing, provide for various reasons the connection of the residence requirement and the right to hunt to the territorial area to which the reserve belongs, the possibility of exercising the right in a reserve other than that of residence, the elimination of burdens to the system through a structural revision of the law in force.
As reported by the newspaper la Repubblica, which reports on the opening of nature reserves and the cancellation of the prohibitions that protect protected species, according to Michele Di Leva, responsible for wildlife of the NLD-National League for the Defense of Dogs, "regions, provinces, municipalities, public institutions are lavish in favor of the hunting lobby in the form of wild exceptions to the hunting levy, in exchange for an alleged electoral basin ".
