ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente 2013: the 8th edition recorded a great success in terms of public and sales with 12.500 visitors in two days.
With the splendid success of the 8th edition, EXPORIVA FISHING HUNTING ENVIRONMENT confirms the most important and unique event for hunting lovers, in particular alpine and selection hunting and for fishing enthusiasts especially fly fishing and spinning. The numbers prove it: 12.500 visitors in the two days with a great response from the public. The origins of visitors are confirmed from Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Lombardy and, increasing, from Liguria, Tuscany, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia? Romagna. ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente has therefore breached the Northeast and the Apennines. According to statistics, the interest of visitors is equally divided between hunting and fishing even if many are involved in both passions.
Very high public attendance at the stand of the Trento Police Headquarters for the demonstrations of handling the firearm in safety. Thanks to the free practice sessions (coordinated by the UITS Trentino Committee), the shooting range also recorded record numbers: almost 700 people shot in the 2 days. For the world of fishing, great satisfaction for the IFTA masters (Italian Fly Tiers Association) manufacturers of artificial flies who have also organized free construction workshops for the little ones.
The presence of SIM, the Italian Fly Fishing School, has allowed fans of this discipline to take part in free launch mini courses in the pool specially set up outside. Satisfaction on the part of Exhibitors also confirmed by the percentage recorded in purchases, with 60% of visitors who bought at the fair. Also positive was the feedback from companies present for the first time, which said they were interested in participating for next year. The new communication strategies activated by the fair also travel at high speed: the event website and its Facebook page are visited by an important and growing number of users, with over 900 admission tickets downloaded directly from the site. High level collateral events for lovers of alpine hunting and selection.
From the now consolidated formula of the "Half hour with the expert", a series of meetings on hunting culture and technique presented by Bruno Modugno, at a completely new symposium for Italy such as the round table on the recovery of the animal with the aid of the dog, with the participation of numerous prominent exponents in the world of wildlife management and recovery with track dogs. A meeting so productive that it will lead to the birth of “La Carta di Riva”: an operational handbook shared at national level. Even “Gamsbart Power”, from a virtual group born on Facebook, right at ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente, takes shape in a movement dedicated to the technical and ethical growth of the hunting world. For fishing enthusiasts, this edition brought an absolute novelty to Italy.
Saturday evening, the exclusive evening dedicated to the Rise Fly Fishing Film Festival, the famous film festival on the art of fly fishing, coming from New Zealand and considered by experts to be one of the best in the world, was strongly appreciated. ExpoRiva Caccia Pesca Ambiente works, and it is a unique event of its kind, because it puts on the net a very rich series of initiatives and proposals that go beyond the simple commercial content. All this, thanks to the work of over a hundred volunteers, an incredible number of people, groups and voluntary associations that are the beating heart of all cultural, folkloristic and social moments.
2014 will reconfirm the Alpine identity of the event which is preparing for a great future also by building a new collaboration with the Salzburg hunting and fishing fair, leader in Europe. We also think about the new layout of the event which will involve new spaces also in light of an important confirmation, already received by ENCI, which will be organized, concurrently with the fair, the 32nd National Dog Show in Riva del Garda.
