Again FACE, the European Federation of Hunters, which brings together over seven million practitioners, dedicates space and attention to an initiative of Italian hunters and Italian Federation of Hunting highlighting it under the auspices #BIODIVERSITYMANIFESTO, which distinguishes projects and initiatives by hunters from all over Europe in favor of biodiversity, environmental restoration and greater knowledge of the fauna for a quality hunting, sustainable and useful, not aimed solely at sampling.
To be chosen as an experience worthy of sharing, the use of satellite telemetry applied by Federcaccia to its research on migration monitoring, illustrated in a video specially made in English and disseminated in recent months also in Italian.
The collection of data makes it possible to deal with more and more authoritativeness the decisions related to the management of the species taken in national and European governmental contexts, as well as allowing a better approach to the subject of hunting seasons through the revision process of the Key concepts underway in Brussels. That of FACE was a choice that fills us with satisfaction and that pushes Federcaccia to engage even more in the field of wildlife studies.
