La technical advice relating to the serious fatal accident last January on the A1 motorway, in the province of Lodi, was filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Lombard municipality. Between the 3 and the 4 January 2019 a herd of wild boars suddenly crossed the road, causing rear-end collisions and unfortunately the death of a 28-year-old of Polish nationality. The cars involved were three and today it turned out what was ascertained from Dominic Romaniello, engineer and consultant, it was an unpredictable fate.
The fence through which the ungulates had passed before appearing on the roadway was considered approved and in use on the entire motorway network of our country. Furthermore, Romaniello ascertained the correct maintenance by Autostrade per l'Italia. The drivers would have been in the middle of the accident due to the speed limit in that section (130 kilometers per hour) and lack of lighting.
The manager would therefore have no responsibility, advice that is destined to be discussed. The Prosecutor of Lodi has reserved the assessments of the case, the only certainty from that day is that a boy is gone.
AND IT SEEMED TO YOU THAT THE FAULT WAS ONLY TO BE CHARGED TO THE TRANSIT DRIVERS ???
