Another appointment linked to the training of hunters by Federcaccia Bergamo. The provincial association led by Michael Bornaghi organizes in collaboration with Uncza- Unione Cacciatori Zona Alpi and with the associated firm Alp Vet an in-person course for biometric detector, one of the many courses in recent months that help train hundreds of hunters. Registrations are received by 10 December at the Federacccia Bergamo headquarters in via Serassi 13 in Bergamo or by contacting 035/225379: the course will consist of 5 lessons, in addition topractical exercise, and will be held on 18, 21, 25, 28 January and 1 and 5 February.
When the number of subscribers is relevant, participants could be divided into groups: one in the evening and one in the afternoon according to the needs of the participants, or divided according to territorial origin. To participate it is of course necessary to have a green pass. The course participation form can be downloaded from the website www.federcacciabergamo.it. The rich program will begin on January 18 with the study of the ethics and professionalism of the biometric detector, and we will talk about the control center and data collection. The great protagonists will of course be the animals, which will be studied in the various days of the course, starting from the cervids, passing to the bovids and the wild boar.
During the first lesson in February, however, we will speak during thelast lesson of sampling in sanitary order as part of the wildlife monitoring plan, while the 5 February will end with the practical exercise, the evaluation of age classes through the evaluation of trophies and jaws of wild ungulates and the visit to the control center.
