An interesting debate
It was held on Monday evening, in a room of the Fiera hotel in Brescia, the assembly of delegates of the single area of Brescia, for the presentation of the budgets, 2024 financial statement and 2025 budget, and for their approval, as well as the report of President Germano Pe. The presence of over 80 delegates represented a good participation, and gave the opportunity to develop an interesting debate during the continuation of the work. The Regional President of Federcaccia Lombardia Marco Bruni was called to play the role of President of the Assembly, and with his usual decisive attitude he conducted the work with confidence.
Change of pace
After the presentation of the 2024 financial statement and the 2025 budget by the accountant of the area, and after hearing the favorable report of the auditor appointed by the Lombardy Region, the assembly of delegates approved them almost unanimously, 3 / 4 abstentions or votes against. President Germano Pe gave an interesting report that touched on both the end of last year's management and the projects already started and for the near future. With particular attention to a change of pace with respect to the territories defined as ZRA and ZRC in which it is thought to reconstitute or strengthen the nuclei of game present, to favor the expansion of their numbers and, over time, their possible recapture or irradiation.
The places most suited to game
The work groups are of great importance in this effort, for which we are promoting their reconstitution or expansion, aware that there can be no success if there is not also the commitment of highly motivated people. The provision of a wildlife technician, Dr. Ragusa, with a strong relationship with the ATC, was then communicated, in addition to the maintenance of the collaboration with the expert Malagoni of Mantua, in order to be able to address the issues in the light of a true analysis of the places most suited to game. We talked about open-air aviaries, about the minimum percentage per hectare of presence of hares in the capture areas, about a set of experiments on which we want to try to change the pace a little compared to the recent past. And about the need, almost obligatory, to find synergic collaborations with the agricultural world, aware that even if for the farmers it is their work activity and for us the exercise of a passion, some improvement agreement may be possible.
The state of the territory
English: The debate involving about ten delegates focused most of its attention on the issue of the state of the territory, increasingly anthropized and less and less hospitable for game. With the subtraction of useful land, with exaggerated intensive monocultures, with the dispersion of liquid manure in the resting phase in a particularly heavy way. With the request to start a further phase of discussion with agricultural associations for significantly important actions that do not count particularly with respect to production itself. In addition to the presence of the delegates, there were several members of the management committee, whom President Pe thanked several times for their active collaboration, in particular the vice-presidents Recenti and Gnali, operating in the territory and in the areas into which it is divided. At the end of the work we noticed in the delegates members of the assembly a trust, certainly not unconditional, but aimed at giving credit to this new approach, which certainly needs to be tested and possibly recalibrated to the results, but gives an account of the possibility of playing a role in the overall management.
