The new Lombard councilor
Alessandro Beduschi is the new Councilor for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry for Attilio Fontana's second term in Lombardia. Born on 28 November 1969 in Mantua, he is a pharmacist and councilor of the Order of Pharmacists of Mantua. Member of the association of pharmacy owners since 2021 and president of the 'Virgilio' Foundation since 2019, he held the position of councilor of the Province of Mantua and mayor of the capital, first, and then of Borgo Virgilio (Mantua). In the elections of 12-13 February, he was elected for the first time to the Lombardy Regional Council with 6032 votes. Before joining Fratelli d'Italia he served in the National Alliance. Candidate for the regional council, he was the Mantuan candidate with the most votes with 6.032 preferences. This is the official curriculum vitae of the new Assessor who in our Region will have to deal with agriculture, a leading economic activity that involves dozens of sectors with thousands of workers and businesses, but will also have to devote part of his time to hunting.
Other preferences
The hopes of the thousands of Brescian citizens who rewarded Floriano Massardi, Carlo Bravo and Barbara Mazzali with a record haul of preferences were therefore not fulfilled. Up until the end, the latter gave her appointment as certain of her to the prestigious position of Agriculture and Hunting, but in the end she was appointed Councilor for Tourism and Fashion. The vicissitudes of life and politics are these, we cannot complain anything to Mrs. Mazzali who with her usual enthusiasm and the stubbornness that distinguishes her will successfully cover her new position but a bitter taste remains in the mouth thinking that now there are two directors left Brescians close to our world to vote in the Regional Council, given that, as is known, the councilors do not vote. Our hope is that Floriano Massardi will at least be offered the presidency of the VIII Commission, that of Agriculture which examines the bills before the Regional Council considering that the rumors of the Pirellone corridor tell of a Massardi who would have refused a more important but not in line with the topics closest to his heart, hunting and the territory of the small towns of Brescia.
The critical issues of the territory
Returning to Councilor Beduschi, we will ask for a meeting with him shortly to understand what guidelines he wants to pursue in hunting with his council and above all how he wants to manage the Milanese offices. The games on the plate are many and complicated and only with a punctual control of the daily activity of the Hunting Structure will it be possible to manage critical issues with attention to the territory. The new responsible manager will also have to be identified given that the previous one has been promoted to other positions at the Stelvio Park. What can I say, we are open to discussion and like Federcaccia Brescia we give our full willingness to collaborate and build sustainable hunting in our Region, ready to support the institutions in the difficult passages of the Wildlife Hunting Plan, of the calendar, for the publication of which there are 90 days left , for the guidelines of the galliformes, for the question of rings of live decoys, for the problem of the Alpine passes to be identified and all the challenges that current events will present to us.
Comparison with ISPRA
We would also like to know from the regional councilors elected in the ranks of the Brothers of Italy if, for example, Minister Lollobrigida has started a discussion with Ispra on the issue of calendars because this is a very delicate subject and if councilor Beduschi himself is ready to urge his strong party colleague of the problems that have arisen in recent years due to the Ispra opinions. We offer availability for comparison and dialogue, strengthened by our increasingly authoritative and recognized technical experience. We cannot do more than this for now (source: FIDC Brescia).
