Federcaccia Lazio invites all hunters Lazio at the demonstration to be held in front of the headquarters of the Regional Council on July 14th, “protesting is a right, in our case it becomes an obligation”.
When dialogue is not possible, manifesting is an obligation. Sometimes there is no other choice for those who represent the rights of citizens, or some of them, than to express their dissent in a civil manner before the institutions. Bringing data, judgments, laws and proposals to support their claims. And this is precisely what will happen in Rome on July 14th, in front of the headquarters of the Lazio Regional Council, in via R. Garibaldi, 7, when the entire regional hunting world will meet manifestation with their own banners, flags, dresses and above all requests. Requests and proposals. The event, organized by the Lazio Federcaccia with the support of 90% of the regional hunting associations, aims to ask the Region for two fundamental things: listening and respect. Listening to the voice of the hunting world with the convening of the wildlife committee, which by law should meet at least four times a year while in the last 12 months it has been convened only once; respect for the rights of hunters, the national framework law, the Lazio TAR ruling relating to the 2013-14 season, which legitimizes the hunting calendar two years ago in line with the rest of Central Italy; respect for the possibility of exceptions to the calendar, postponement of the season for some species and early days for others, also in this case in perfect harmony with the rest of Central Italy; compliance with the scientific data produced by the Migratory Birdlife and Resident Fauna Offices of the Italian Federation of Hunting, which rigorously demonstrate the sustainability of the hunting of turdidae and woodcock up to the entire third decade of January; respect and listening to a category of uncensored citizens-taxpayers, who every year find themselves increasingly harassed by inconceivable rules and depressing taxes; listening to the voice of those who, every day, live their own territory and take care of it, protecting it from fires, illegal landfills and building speculations.
“Furthermore, with our demonstration - declared the president of Federcaccia Lazio Aldo Pompetti - we will demonstrate to the Lazio Region that hunters do not give up their rights, they do not allow themselves to be bent by the guilty silences of the institutions. We will demonstrate how one can express one's dissent without offending or insulting anyone but, at the same time, throwing all its responsibilities and omissions towards us in the face of the Region. Demonstrating is everyone's right, and together it is exercised even more effectively: this is why we ask for the highest possible participation from the whole regional hunting world and, to encourage adhesions from all over Lazio, like Federcaccia we have organized coaches. from each province. We want to be many ”.
