Nazzareno Galassi, Chairman of the provincial section of Macerata of the Italian Federation of Hunting, issued a statement about the shooting incidents near the houses that have been rebuilt by some media. Galassi recalled that hunting laws must be respected, especially when dealing with public safety and the killing of non-huntable species.
The behavior of those who did not follow the provisions of the regulations were condemned in no uncertain terms: for Federcaccia Macerata they are attitudes that offend the vast majority of hunters, who have always been committed to managing the territory and scrupulously respecting the laws. However, everyone was asked to keep the Minimum 150 meters away from houses and roads, trying to avoid shooting in the direction of the same so as not to get the shots on the roofs.
Galassi then underlined that the rifle must be unloaded when you approach roadways and houses, without forgetting the leash for the dog to wear. The Marches section has made available its own voluntary hunting guards to prevent misbehavior, concluding the note with a simple but highly effective sentence: "We respect to be respected".
