The regional section of the Piemonte of Italian Federation of Hunting filed a new appeal to the Regional Administrative Court regarding thearticle 38 of Regional Law 26 of 2015. This is the rationalization of the management committees of Territorial Areas of Hunting and Alpine Areas. The project provides for a reduction and merger of these entities, destined to go from the current 38 (21 ATC and 17 Ski Areas) to just over half.
FIDC Piemonte recalled how the measure immediately caused the hunting world to rise up, given that some associations would be penalized to favor others, without forgetting that discrimination against hunters. The operation was motivated by the Region with the need to save, but for Federcaccia the costs are destined to increase due to reimbursement of expenses that management entities should bear. Another problem is the timing.
The representatives of the hunting, environmental and agricultural associations must be appointed by November 19, but the first council chamber of the Regional Administrative Court will take place eleven days later. This means that the judges will not have many days to decide. The appeals to the TAR were also presented by Libera Caccia, Enalcaccia, Ente Produttori di Game and ANUUMigratoristi, specifically the sections of a municipality and an Alpine sector.
