Growth and innovation
Renewal and innovation are a source of growth and innovation in any sector. A significant example for FIdC and the hunting sector as a whole comes from the province of Cuneo, where our member Chiara Pedrini's transition to a female role as president of the ATC CN5 was significant.
Nursery schools
What Chiara has already been able to demonstrate in organizing an educational day for over 230 school children in Castelletto Uzzone (CN) confirms that the advent of a role usually performed by men was an innovative and right choice. nursery and primary schools accompanied by around twenty teachers. The meeting saw the students get to know hunters, hunting associations, dog groups, fishermen, farmers and beekeepers, and everything that actually characterizes the rural world and its outdoor activities.
The topics explored in depth
Many topics were presented: the recognition of the species present in the area, the presentation of pointing and tracking dogs, identification of different breeds, demonstration of the working test of pointing dogs, dog education with an ENCI trainer, sport fishing, simulation and search for truffles, taxidermy recognition, the propagation and multiplication of fruiting plants, the world of bees, falconry. A complex but beautiful initiative that was able to coordinate multiple associations, civil protection, law enforcement, public officials and political representatives (source: FIDC Piedmont).
