Given the text licensed by a majority in Environment Commission of the proposed law on containment of wild boars which provides for the extension of the use of motorized vehicles on municipal and local roads subject to the limitations currently set forth in LR 32/1982 exclusively to authorized hunters in planned hunting exercise for the collection of wild boar only.
Given the "Provisions related to the 2020 Regional Stability Law" proposed and approved by the Regional Council of Piedmont in the articulated part concerning changes to the LR5 / 2018 Protection of fauna and wildlife - hunting management; the undersigned Association believes that both proposed amendments legislative are overall insufficient to comply with the real need for reform of the Piedmontese hunting sector, as already reiterated previously in the institutional meetings held in the Region, as well as in the expectations of the same sector following the advent of the current regional political majority.
We reiterate in particular the ns. reservations on the proposed changes regarding compensation for damages caused by the wildlife and hunting activity, and we underline the total significant absence of initiatives to restore the September Sundays precluded from the exercise of planned hunting as per the LR in force in Piedmont.
