Balance approvance
The works of the Assembly and the Regional Council were held on Saturday 13 April in Florence Tuscan Federcaccia UCT, coordinated on the occasion - as President of the Assembly - by the Provincial President of Florence Simone Tofani. After the necessary statutory obligations and the approval of the budget held in the first part of the morning, the work got underway with the renewals of the management bodies that will have to govern the Association for the next five years.
The next five years
The outgoing Regional President Marco Salvadori was once again confirmed unanimously by the Regional Council to cover this role also for the next five years, thanks to the results achieved and the ambitious objectives set. The first act of President Salvadori as newly elected was to appoint the new presidential office of the Federcaccia Toscana UCT, composed of the two regional Vice Presidents Avv. Alfonso Papa – former Provincial President of Pisa – and Franco Biagini – former Provincial President of Pistoia – together with the Secretary Dr. Elisa Mazzei and the other two members, Dr. Francesco Rustici and Eng. Alfonso Lenzoni. Particularly significant in this sense is the age of the members of the Office chosen by President Salvadori, which for half of them is between thirty and forty years. A young, competent and prepared Presidency, to best face the upcoming challenges that - as majority representatives of the Tuscan hunting community - await us in the coming period.
New regional law on hunting
During his detailed speech, President Salvadori reviewed the salient points of the last five years of his mandate without failing to look towards the future and the next fundamental objectives. We started from the Braccagni Regional Conference with the approval of the new regional law on hunting, moving from the health emergency linked to Covid, arriving at a new and productive relationship with the Tuscan institutional world. From the evolution of the CCT into FIDC-UCT to the creation and promotion of conferences and initiatives on the main themes relating to hunting in Tuscany up to the planning necessary for the approval of the new regional hunting wildlife plan; all this passing through the relaunch of the relationship with the regional agricultural world and the management of the emergency linked to the ASF. An all-round intervention that contains the essence of the morning's work, for an Association that is never static, which looks to the future not with resignation, but with hope and proactiveness (source: FIDC).
