Also this year the municipal administration of Montelupone organized the "tree festival" which involves the planting of a tree for each child born in the year. On this occasion, lime trees were planted: whoever plants a tree plants hope. The event took place in the green area adjacent to Via Giovanni Paolo II and the mayor of Montelupone, Mr. Rolando Pecora, the councilor for the environment Mrs. Giada Giorgetti and the municipal councilor Mr. Simone Gambini intervened.
The parents present were given wooden tags with reported the names of the children who were placed around the trees planted. Thanks from the local Federcaccia section to the municipal administration, for having been invited to the event waiting to continue in the coming months with other events aimed at safeguarding and protecting the territory (source: Hunting Federation).
