Registration for the course organized by the Provincial section of Udine di Federcaccia and which is entitled "Hunting Legislation / Safety and Behavioral Regulations". The days of 9 and 16 February to carry out two lessons in the evening: as explained by Adriano Domenico Piccoli, president of Federcaccia Udine, the initiative aims to be a contribution to the participants to refresh their memory on regulations in force on hunting matters, in particular those of closer practical interest in the light of the latest variations. Furthermore, if participation in the course will be nourished, the project could be repeated on a regular basis. The collaboration of two hunting guards, Salvatore Salerno and Roberto Muscari, will guarantee an even more accurate performance.
During the first lesson on February 9 (from 20: 30 to 22) reference will be made to the most important hints on national legislation relating to hunting and on regional legislation, in particular the rules of safety and correctness. The second lesson of February 16 will always last an hour and a half and the same evening slot for what concerns the beginning and the end: in this case we will talk about the various changes that have occurred in relation to the means of hunting, in addition to their detention and reporting, without forgetting how to correctly fill in the hunting card.
Participation in the course is completely free if the participant is a member of the Italian Federation of Hunting: the cost is instead of 30 euros for non-members, a sharing of expenses. Among the main legislative changes is undoubtedly the Environmental Connection, with a series of innovations introduced that will become effective starting from the next 2 February: these are mainly provisions relating to wild boars, hunting notwithstanding the starling, otters and fixed stalking. Among other things, the European Commission has recently advanced the hypothesis of revise the EU Weapons Directive in light of the terrorist attacks of recent months.
The reform is considered penalizing also and above all towards hunters and sport shooters, therefore the appeals and petitions from the Directive Committee 477. The latter also appreciated some aspects of the review, but the reference to the category B7 of weapons it also includes sportsmen and hunters in the name of greater safety. In addition, various associations have taken steps to send their opinion on the matter to the competent bodies, inviting individual citizens of the European Union to express their personal opinion (two petitions are still active).
