On 01/02/2012, due to adverse weather conditions, a bewildered woodcock landed in the square of the municipality of Vaglio di Basilicata (Pz).
The President of the FIDC Municipal Section, Mr. Accept Luciano, taking care to capture her, felt it was his duty to promptly notify the President of the ATC No. 2 of Potenza, Mr. Francesco Giorgio, and the Observatory of Basilicata represented by Messrs. Carlo Gilio and Sandrino Caffaro.
The same, advised Dr. Mallia, head of the ISPRA of Basilicata, who arranged to ring the wild, after having made all the necessary measurements. From the same, it was shown that it was a young woodcock, which did not exceed one year of life. Everything ended, making the young woodcock fly into its natural habitat.
All this demonstrates how, the close agreement between ATC, the Federcaccia di Basilicata and the Observatory, manages to produce benefits, which are aimed at the good of hunting and all hunters.
