This time the victims of man are not only dogs, cats or parrots kidnapped before any trial or sentence, but other men. Reiterating that more than someone had predicted that going on like this, sooner or later it would happen, maybe it doesn't help much, since three human beings are dead.
Perhaps it will not even serve to open the eyes of most, on what could be the consequences of the interests and the excessive power assigned to animal rights activists in recent years, since yesterday someone took advantage of the tragedy, to magnify the work of these so-called “nature and animal protection” associations.
The facts reported by the press agencies, however, beyond the opinions, are these: two zoophile guards showed up at a man's home with a decree of seizure of his hunting dogs following reports of mistreatment. Is the passage clear ?: “kidnapping” of his dogs “following reports”.
The man said to go get a pen and instead came back armed and killed them. Then he committed suicide. Were the dogs really mistreated? From what we read there had been no sentence: only a seizure decree signed by a prosecutor. On what basis? Reports! How many animals have been seized up to now in Italy on the basis of complaints and reports, perhaps of the same animal welfare associations that then entrust them to each other, become a civil party in the trials and are also the recipients of any sanctions? How many animals assigned to them died or disappeared during the process that perhaps ended in an acquittal? How many unfortunates in the desperation of having their beloved animals taken away under a slanderous accusation, the families placed in mediumistic pillories without contradiction, the innocent never compensated for the sufferings and public and private humiliations suffered? Yet some politicians, animal rights activists would even like to make it even easier to seize animals and assign them the maintenance costs as well.
Aren't they volunteers ?! And there is also the new Highway Code which will probably offer them new opportunities for ambulances, volunteers, first aid and new business. No politician can doubt that yesterday's tragedy is also the result of that despair, of that social disorder that someone already glimpsed in the biased application of laws that seem to be conceived with the prejudice that a category of presumed moral superiority can act preventively in a punitive manner against other ideologically hated categories? Does someone else need to die to understand that this is wrong ?!
Now the usual jackals will say that it is necessary to tighten the rules on the release of the gun license or on the detention of animals by non-animal rights activists. According to FederFauna, there is another way to go: backtracking!
