Protected areas
The Man – Nature – Environment Foundation turns ten and is celebrating with a series of events at theEOS - European Outdoor Show – which took place in Verona. On February 8, a party was held for the Foundation's birthday, attended by Federparchi vice-president Santina Grande, who brought greetings from the protected areas and outlined a positive balance of mutual collaboration.
Protection of avifauna
There are numerous projects that Federparchi and Fondazione UNA have been sharing for some years, including “Biodiversity in flight”, a project that aims to achieve more effective protection of avifauna and biodiversity and to combat poaching. The project also aims to raise awareness of virtuous practices in managing fauna within Italian national and regional parks, through the involvement of journalists and influencers, with whom guided tours and excursions have been organized to the national parks of Gran Paradiso, Foreste Casentinesi, Asinara, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise; to the Migliarino San Rossore Massaciuccoli Regional Park, to that of Maremma and also in Catalonia at the Disputaciò de Barcelona.
Profitable collaboration
During the event, Santina Grande received, together with others, a plaque in recognition of the fruitful collaboration between Federparchi and the Foundation. (Source FEDERPARCHI)
