Beyond the fact, in itself unusual as well as formally improper, that the Italian Shooting Federation "Experience" a specialty that is practiced with rifled guns and fixed shapes, it is all too evident and unequivocal that this specialty, which has been included for about twenty years among the activities of Fidasc, falls fully and exclusively among those recognized by the statutes of a Federation in whose acronym the word hunting is clearly reported. A Federation - and this certainly does not seem to be a trivial consideration - which has planned the 11nd World Championship of Field Shooting with rifled guns, a "Complete" specialty for 12 and 2 September. 50, 100, 200 and 300 meters, and Shotgun with smooth-bore shotguns, “Combined” specialty on fixed and mobile shape at 50 meters.
To make Fitav's initiative even more "singular" and perhaps absolutely inappropriate, there is the very particular inclusion of a qualification such as that of "Selecontrollori" which makes its first unthinkable and improper appearance among the historical ones of skeet shooting and Fitasc. Finally, it cannot be forgotten that already in the past, with a truly authoritarian force action, a specialty, also exquisitely of hunting extraction as the "Combined Hunting Shooting" that Fidasc had invented and made to grow also at an international level, was, so to speak, passed hands in favor of Fitav.
To avoid, therefore, the repetition of similar unpleasant and unjust arbitrary actions, Fidasc formally asked, both the president of Coni and that of Fitav, to identify in a short time a consensual solution of the entire problem that may lead to the joint signing of a protocol that establishes, in a clear and definitive way, the division of sports competences between the two Federations (Source: TRUST).
