"Not at all secession, here it is inventions". Paul Viezzi, thus stealing the notes that are circulating from an email account that begins with "federcacciammxx" - in which he is portrayed leading an action aimed at unhinging National Federcaccia and to leave the organization with the Fvg hunters. Viezzi, with patience, puts together the pieces of a somewhat different story, in which the ventilated secession could be found in the request, this yes claimed, "for the permanence of greater resources on the territory, to transform them into services aimed at bringing people who are not hunters closer to the hunting world, but who practice, for example, sports that may have a bearing on this world, which in the region in 2000 it had 16 hunters and today 7.800».
A general objective expressed in a ten-year program that was approved by the Fvg hunters in July 2019, but which still finds resistance at the national level. A dimension with which Viezzi does not hide the fact that he has differences of views, but which "fall within the political dialectic of associations". On 3 July, at the request of Viezzi, the National Council analyzed the development program of the Fvg association but it did not come to a conclusion, postponing the judgment. «An attitude that bothers me a lot, Viezzi admits -, since we have a path and activities to carry out which in this way are slowed down».
The story would have originated in June of a year ago, when Viezzi, re-elected president for the third term expiring in 2023, decides to put his hand to the Statute of the association which had been established in 2001 with the name of FederFriuli Fvg and federated to the national Federcaccia. Change the name to Federation of hunters Fvg and change the Statute "In the sign of a participatory rebalancing," he says, remaining federated with the national team. The new document passes in an assembly in which, out of a representation of 3 thousand members, 48 are against. With the new Statute and the third mandate, Viezzi reconstructs, there is also a "tense dialogue with Rome" for "the revision of the membership, in order to manage it locally to make it faster and more efficient, and because we want to review the portion of resources that remain in the area. Made 100, the payment of a member to the national team makes Viezzi clear - Rome returns 24 to Friuli Venezia Giulia and has not invested a euro here for twenty years ».
The president accompanies the requests with the ten-year program which has three strong points: "The creation of a multipurpose venue - one in Udine in an existing sports center and one in Pordenone where canine activities, skeet shooting and other realities frequented by not hunters who could however be interested in learning about the hunting world; the creation in Gorizia of a center for the supply of marketable game; a dog area, in San Vito al Tagliamento, dedicated to the training of all dogs, not just hunting ones ». A complex operation "to bring new people closer to the hunting world and, above all, to change the image one has of this world", concludes Viezzi, recalling that the members of the Federation of hunters Fvg are 4.800, for about 480 thousand euros of membership fees (Il Gazzettino).
