Spirituality and respect for nature
November 3th is celebrated St. Hubert, patron saint of hunters, a figure who for centuries has combined spirituality, respect for nature, and a passion for hunting. According to tradition, Hubert, a nobleman from the Ardennes, during a hunt saw a deer appear with a luminous cross between the poles of his hunting post: a divine sign that led him to conversion and a life of faith and dedication.
Best wishes to the hunting world
Since then, Sant'Uberto has become a symbol of balance between man and nature, of those who hunt with heart and responsibility, of those who know the forest, the animals, and the seasons, and know that being part of this world also means protecting it. On this day, Federcaccia extends its best wishes to all hunters in Italy, custodians of an ancient knowledge and protagonists of a tradition passed down through time, living a passion that unites friendship, territory, and respect.
Pride and awareness
This year, we do so with this work by the artist V. Fasano, created in 1948 and preserved at the headquarters of the Foggia Provincial Section, thanking Provincial President Marcello Stoduto for sharing it. Let's celebrate our patron saint together with pride, knowing that true hunting requires moderation, responsibility, and love for the environment that welcomes us. Happy Sant'Uberto's Day to everyone, and good luck! (Source: FIDC).
