In the usual column "Thoughtful" Federcaccia Brescia he spoke about the Lombardy Region and electoral votes. For the next 22 October the same local authority has called a consultative referendum among citizens to find out whether or not it is necessary to ask the State for greater autonomy on certain subjects. The starting point was one of the articles of the Constitution and one of these matters is of great interest to Lombard hunters.
We are talking about the protection of the environment, ecosystem and cultural heritage, as can be read clearly in the letter S of the second paragraph of article 117. As explained by the hunting association, if this competence were requested by the Lombardy region, participation in the referendum which will take place in just over a week would be very important for hunters. Federcaccia Lombardia will therefore send an official letter to the governor Robert Maroni and regional councilor Gianni Fava to solicit the topic in question and get a precise answer.
The local hunting world believes that the envisaged scenarios would be new, in particular as regards the management of protected areas, the containment of invasive wild species that damage agriculture and the protection of traditional hunts. Finally, we must not forget the safeguarding of certain cultural assets, roccoli in the first place, the undisputed heritage of regional history.
