The provincial section of Pisa of Italian Federation of Hunting managed to conquer the ninth edition of the Trophy of the Ancient Maritime Republics. This is a test for pointing dogs with Sant'Uberto regulation which took place in recent days a Noli, in the province of Savona. The hunting association had succeeded in the same intent five years, to be precise during the Lajatico edition (in the province of Pisa).
The representative was made up of Giancarlo Sardi, Cristina Da Prato, Aldo Maiano, Giorgio Gremigni, Piero Bertini e James Donati, capable of beating the teams of Genoa and Noli with 261 points. In particular, Giancarlo Sardi scored 62 points in what was the best performance ever in terms of points. The organization was defined flawless.
In addition to the trophy, Federcaccia Pisa has obtained another recognition: this is the award for the best subject of the event, the "Umberto Pazzini" Trophy, named after the creator of the first ever edition. The tenth edition will take place in 2018, again in Pisa. All the Maritime Republics have given their support, for sure it will be an exciting test and embellished with historical re-enactments, concerts and parties in the square to honor the "June Pisano".
