The young protagonists
Good news from Umbria which, after a series of preparatory meetings, saw the birth of its own youth coordination board. The first step took place about a month ago, on the evening of 17 April, when a meeting was held with the Umbrian boys as protagonists, the national president of Federcaccia Massimo Buconi, the regional president of Umbrian hunting federation Simone Petturiti, the regional secretary Giampiero Morosi, the provincial president of Perugia Marcello Spigarelli and the provincial president of Terni Giulio Piccioni, while Paolo Di Bella and Carmelo Violante were present for the national youth coordination. During the meeting, Di Bella and Violante illustrated to the participants in detail what the Coordination has done so far, the aims and upcoming projects, finding full acceptance and sharing of ideas, sanctioned by the words of satisfaction of President Buconi for the establishment of the movement youth in their own region, expressing their full conviction of the importance of the coordination of young people and women.
Unanimous nomination
Last 2 May, in the premises made available by the municipal section of the FIdC of Pantalla, Luca Coletti and Alessio Orlandoni met the young hunters, effectively holding the first official meeting of the Umbrian Coordination. Those present read the coordination regulation and, after a brief discussion, unanimously decided to appoint Alessio Orlandoni as regional contact person and Alessandro Orelli as his deputy, while the figure of secretary was entrusted to Andrea Gentilucci. All the boys present have a clear understanding of Federcaccia's aims and believe in the youth movement, in associations, passing through aggregation, moments of confrontation and personal growth; the direct consequence will be having the skills to face the life of the association in the near future.
A friendly meeting
Among those present, in addition to the aforementioned Luca Coletti and Alessandro Orlandoni of the National Coordination, promoters of the officialization of the Umbrian group, Alessandro Orelli, Alessandro Bocci, Niccolò and Jacopo Bassetti participated, representing the province of Perugia, while Emanuele Luciani, Sascia Ottaviani, Andrea Gentilucci are the representatives of the province of Terni. And finally, the first official outing of the "Young Umbrians" on the occasion of "Caccia Village" for an exchange of ideas and convivial meeting with all the members of the national coordination. The successful initiatives that will be implemented by the new Umbrian team will certainly be a driving force for the activities and prestige of Federcaccia (source: FIDC).
