There are two initiatives linked to young people who have seen the as protagonist FITAV in the last few hours. The seventh edition ofopen day promoted by the TAV CAS Concaverde Sports Association of Lonato del Garda (province of Brescia) recorded an important success, while a Bastardo (province of Perugia) theGiano dell'Umbria Comprehensive Institute hosted a new meeting on the federation's “Green Line” project. Let's proceed in order. In Lombardy about thirty newbies participated in the open day mentioned above, with great enthusiasm in the competition and during the classroom lessons that bodes well.
All the instructors of the Lonatese association were present, in particular Silvio Grande explained to the very young all the details of the training program that is aimed at children and the youth sector in general: a very interesting and participatory debate was born. The moment of the platform had to be one of the main ones and this was made possible by the professionalism displayed by the Cas Concaverde instructors with Walter Miotto, Roberto Armani, Marco and Giampiero Faustinelli.
The FITAV wanted to underline, among other things, the first adhesions of some boys and girls, ready to attend the shooting school in Lonato del Garda, but still others are awaited. As for the Umbrian institute, then, it is one of the stages of the federal youth project, which has the objective of raise awareness of this discipline in high school. Two lessons were held in Bastardo and the participation recorded the presence of a hundred excited and curious students. The boys were told the entire history of clay pigeon shooting and sports equipment, a direct and highly effective approach.
In this case Ferdinand Rossi, representative of the Navy and shooter of the Italian national team in the specialty of Double Trap, was the classic “icing on the cake”, as he acted as a testimonial in the institute and explained the competitive experience that has characterized his career so far. As Rossi himself explained, talking to the students was undoubtedly an exciting opportunity, taking into account the fact that the genesis of his approach to skeet shooting was retraced from the beginning: the goal was to convey his passion and sensations as much as possible, in the hope that among the benches there are the great shooters of the future. The Double Trap champion concluded the intervention hoping that many young people accept the invitation of the initiative and try the discipline in person to understand what you are dealing with.
