Balance time
2022 is fast approaching its conclusion and, before the start of the new year, it's time to take stock. For the Youth Sector of the Fitav it is certainly a more than positive balance sheet. All the races reserved for aspiring future champions of our sport have recorded growing participation numbers compared to 2021, demonstrating excellent health. With the National Coordinator Alberto Di Santolo we drew up the 2022 General Medal Table and it was Lazio that deserved the first place overall.
Total podiums
In fact, 16 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals entered the regional chest for a total of 38 podiums. In second position was Emilia-Romagna with 12 golds, 8 silvers and 7 bronzes and a total of 27. Third went to Lombardia which takes the last step of the podium with 36 medals, 9 golds, 1 silver and 13 bronzes and the total of 36.

Scrolling through the medal table we find Tuscany in fourth position, Piedmont in fifth, Sardinia in sixth, Puglia in seventh, Umbria in eighth, Calabria in ninth, Veneto in tenth, Sicily in eleventh, Campania in twelfth , Marche in thirteenth, Liguria in fourteenth, Abruzzo in fifteenth, Friuli Venezia Giulia in sixteenth, Valle d'Aosta in seventeenth, Basilicata in eighteenth and Molise, without medals, in nineteenth (source: FITAV) .
