La Lombardy region has decided to foresee an additional day, in addition to the three weekly ones, as regards hunting from fixed stalking for migratory birds. This is the inclusive period between October 1st and November 30th, therefore two full months, as mentioned in these hours for the Brescia hunters. The same goes for those from Bergamo, as made official by theRegional Territorial Union.
The species that can be taken are the song thrush, redwing, cesena, blackbird, mallard, teal, gadwall, wigeon, gargane, shoveler, pochard, coot and moorhen. In the other Lombard provinces the picture presents some differences with respect to what has been explained so far. The UTR Brianza, for example, has decreed two additional weekly days for hunting rock thrushes, song thrushes, cesene and blackbirds: in Lecco, on the contrary, the day will be one more, including water birds.
Then there is the UTR Insubria: there will be two additional days for hunters from Como (thrushes, cesene and blackbirds), as well as for those from Varese (we must once again add the aquatic ones). As for theTerritorial Union of Pavia, these are two supplementary days, the same fate befell the hunters of the province of Mantua.
