The role of Federcaccia
The flood that hit Emilia Romagna last May, on the one hand has brought our territory to its knees, on the other hand it demonstrated the generous solidarity of those who contributed to its rapid recovery. The fundraising promoted by the Federcaccia Emilia Romagna regional council, in this sense, has created a real "help and solidarity network" which, starting from the Federcaccia provincial sections of Forlì Cesena and Ravenna, has been able to create small-large works capable to give new life to structures, places and smiles, lost, at first, among water and mud.
The funds in detail
In particular, the altruistic altruism of many groups of hunters made it possible, with an amount of €10.733, at the "Ippodromo" nursery school and nursery in Cesena, the renovation of the "La Buca" motor room with the purchase of new soft toys suitable for the little ones and the rearrangement of the internal fence of the garden with the placement of new outdoor games: works inaugurated on 27 October. Furthermore, part of the donations - €10.000 - were used for the cultural club “Senior age hobby – Hippodrome” in Cesena, for maintenance work, purchase of household appliances, outdoor furniture and kitchen equipment, which were completely destroyed in the flood. Finally, the amount of €6.000 was donated to the Municipality of Conselice (Ravenna) to restore part of the furnishings of a kindergarten and for the purchase of medical equipment dedicated to the guests of the “O.P.” Protected House. Jus Pascendi” of Conselice.
Immense gratitude
The fundraising also supported the intense assistance activity for the flood victims and made it possible to provide tangible support to many families and communities who found themselves in situations of difficulty and need. Here then, President Paolo Pini, on behalf of the entire Federcaccia Emilia Romagna Regional Council, intends to express his most immense gratitude towards all those who responded to the appeal for solidarity, in particular to the hunting world through the territorial Sections Federcaccia and the individual hunters: “If Emilia Romagna did it, the credit is yours too.
