UNA Foundation – Man, Nature, Environment – renews its participation in Caccia Village, the main hunting fair in central and southern Italy, which will be held from 10 to 12 May at the exhibition centre in Umbria fairs, with the purpose of tell their projects and share with visitors their idea of ethical and responsible hunting. Over the course of the three days, once again designed to enhance the Italian territory and hunting traditions, Fondazione UNA has structured its program to tell, through the project lines developed over the years, its concrete commitment in promoting a dialogue on issues dear to the hunting community that involves all the actors who deal with the environment.
Starting from a stand dedicated in particular to theOperation Paladins of the Territory, one of his most representative projects, on the occasion of Hunting Village UNA Foundation intends to renew the invitation to all hunters to take part in the project with their own initiatives and to tell their experiences. The Paladini del Territorio will also be dedicated a moment specifically, at the Wild Food area in the late Sunday morning: an opportunity for some of the participants in the latest editions to share their experiences, giving an account, with concrete facts, of what is the social role of the hunter, inserted in his community of reference. Thanks to the collaboration with APS Wild Taste, UNA Foundation has then prepared a rich schedule of events around the project Wild and Good, launched in 2017 with the aim of spreading greater awareness of the opportunities for the territories, at an economic and social level, deriving from the development of a wild meat supply chain.
Through moments of discussion and dissemination, associated with tastings organized by the Association, the aim will be to tell the public of Caccia Village about potential for integrated supply chain projects, which can enhance hunting activity also in this sense. But Caccia Village will also be the occasion for announce a new project, which will come officially launched on Saturday, at the Cibo Selvaggio area, at 14.30pm, Together with Renata Briano, President of the Scientific Committee of the UNA Foundation, and Andrea Cavaglia, hunter and content creator.
The new initiative will see the UNA Foundation involved for the rest of the year, with an invitation to all hunters to participate, always with the aim of spreading a hunting culture that contributes to broadening the traditional horizons of hunting.
