Opinions and emotional factors
According to Nomisma, two-thirds of Italians believe they are insufficiently informed about hunting, acknowledging that their opinions are based on emotional factors. It's easy to leverage emotions and ideologies, but we want the numbers to speak for themselves.
Coexistence between man and nature
Nature is under pressure, it's true, but certainly not because of hunting, which represents only 0,66% of the pressures reported on the environment and, indeed, has had and continues to have a positive impact on the coexistence between man and nature, having made it possible to avoid 40 million euros of damage caused by potential road accidents caused by wild species.
The data says the opposite
41% of Italians favor hunting conducted in full compliance with the rules, and as the UNA Foundation, we continue to maintain that this is the only possible hunting activity: anything else simply isn't hunting. Does nothing justify hunting? The data says otherwise (source: UNA Foundation).
